Background
As part of its development, Decathlon has built a logistics platform of approximately 30,000 m² in Lompret. Furthermore, Decathlon is actively managing the energy and technical costs of its buildings.
The aim of implementing Smart BMS is to contribute to the energy and operational efficiency of this site by controlling heating and ventilation and ensuring remote reading of energy consumption.
Tailor-made solutions from Accenta
Thanks to a simplified technical architecture, direct savings have been made (no local server, no license, no supervision station).
A simple and effective tool to use, the Smart GTB allows Decathlon to set up remote control and monitoring that optimizes the energy management of this BBC-certified building:
✅ Centralized access in real time to equipment control
✅ Simplified comfort and occupancy adjustment
✅ Daily temperature monitoring
✅ Daily calculation of the “start” and “stop” of each zone
✅ Control by zone according to the desired comfort
✅ Anticipation of free contributions
✅ Alarms dedicated to the uses of the actors
Results
Effipilot and Insight software contribute to obtaining HQE certification. The project received a double mention from the jury at the Green Solution Awards.
The system’s scalability enables Décathlon to expand its warehouse in the knowledge that new energy systems can be connected to Effipilot and Insight, whatever they may be.
What’s more, the building stands out by consuming 47% less energy than the logistics benchmarks identified by the Observatoire de l’Immobilier Durable, while keeping consumption under control despite the site’s increased activity.
