Background

In 2021, the prestigious Liberty Country Club in Thiverval-Grignon, 60 km from Paris, is looking to Accenta to reduce the energy costs and climatic impact of its outdoor swimming pool and vast tennis court.

The owners of this temple of sport wanted a renewable decarbonation solution to minimize the use of gas, considered too expensive and polluting.

Tailor-made solutions from Accenta

Following an audit of the infrastructure and subsoil, it was decided to install a geostorage heat collection system backed up by solar panels.

The swimming pool and tennis courts will thus be heated by an energy mix comprising natural heat from underground rocks and the sun. The system includes:

✅ A field of 52 geothermal probes 100 m deep

✅ 1 geothermal heat pump

✅ 265 m² of thermal solar panels

The system’s efficiency is ensured by the Respilot intelligent solution, responsible for continuously seeking the most efficient energy responses.

Customer benefits

The economic, environmental and regulatory impacts of the system implemented are spectacular:

✅ Liberty Country Club is close to carbon neutrality, with 93% less CO2 emitted by gas. The same applies to energy bills, which have been cut by almost 80%.

✅ A personalized management interface, remotely accessible on PC and smartphone, to monitor consumption and comfort in the areas concerned.

✅ A good head start on the evolution of climate regulations, in particular the reduction in consumption required by the tertiary sector decree (-40% before 2030, -50% before 2040 and -60% before 2050), as well as the installation of a BMS before 2025 imposed by the BACS decree.
