Background
In 2019, Radisson Blu & Union Investment commissioned Accenta to reduce the energy consumption and carbon impact of a 4-star hotel near the Old Port in the heart of Marseille.
Tailor-made solutions from Accenta
After studying the site and taking into account the different uses (rooms, lobby, restaurant, gym, etc.), the response was based on our Optimize solution in its Recommended Driving version. The system comprises the following elements:
✅ 16 energy sensors to track consumption
✅ 23 comfort sensors (temperature, hygrometry, luminosity, etc.)
✅ 5 cold water sensors
✅ Personalized dashboards for monitoring consumption and comfort
Following preliminary studies carried out on the sites, Accenta’s Energy Managers deploy the energy performance solution, including:
✅ The design and installation of a monitoring system (energy and comfort)
✅ Dynamic modeling of the building (digital twins)
✅ Support from Energy Managers to implement energy performance actions
✅ Access to the hypervision platform (SaaS, dashboard, ESG, Taxonomy, Tertiary Decree)
Customer benefits
Thanks to this energy management solution, Union Investment has regained control of its energy consumption. It also benefits from continuous management of technical installations (HVAC, BMS) as well as actions to improve energy performance.
This solution has made it possible to meet the following customer challenges:
✅ Achieve compliance with the Tertiary Decree (-14% kWh)
✅ Contribute to achieving the carbon neutrality objectives of the Taxonomy (-14% tCO2)
✅ Guarantee premium comfort for hotel guests
✅ Centralize and exploit reliable data on a platform for extra-financial reporting
